Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and forward-thinking Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will help students overcome developmental challenges and thrive in an inclusive, AI-enhanced school environment that values innovation, integrity, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

Therapeutic Intervention

  • Assess students’ fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing using standardized tools and functional observations.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students' developmental and academic needs.
  • Deliver therapy through a combination of small group sessions, individualized pull-out support, and integrated in-classroom intervention, tailored to meet each student’s needs.
  • Support students in building independence in school routines, including self-care, handwriting, organizational skills, and classroom participation.
Collaboration & Integration
  • • Work closely with special education teachers, learning support staff, speech therapists, and psychologists. • Contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and student review meetings with families and school staff. • Provide consultation and recommendations to teachers for classroom adaptations, sensory strategies, and activity modifications. • Conduct classroom observations and support the implementation of inclusive practices across all grades.
Documentation & Reporting
  • • Maintain detailed, confidential records of assessments, therapy sessions, progress notes, and parent communications. • Prepare reports for internal use and, if needed, for submission to external agencies or professionals.
Innovation & Professional Growth
  • Embrace the use of assistive technologies and AI-enhanced tools to support therapy and maximize student engagement.
Parent & Community Engagement
  • Communicate clearly with parents, providing strategies for home carryover.
  • Conduct parent workshops or training sessions on child development, sensory integration, and school-readiness skills when needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from a recognized institution.
  • Fully registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) Singapore.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual abilities are a plus.
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently when needed.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
  • Passionate about working in an inclusive, diverse international school setting.
